Overcoming Birth Trauma Workshops
It is estimated that as many as 210,000 women per year have difficult or traumatic birth experiences.
Join our retreat day to:
explore your birth experience
express your story
gain tools to improve your parenting confidence
increase your feelings of wellbeing
This is a chance to connect with yourself and others in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, enjoy delicious food and be amongst supportive company.
You do not have to be good at art or be particularly creative in order to join. Everyone is inherently creative and during the day you will discover unique ways to express your story.
The retreat will be facilitated by two creative arts therapists and a parenting consultant to ensure it is a nurturing, fun and empowering day.
You will be able to reflect individually, as well as within a group and will gain tools to improve your confidence & wellbeing. This day aims to empower you to discover ways to cope, hope & flourish as a mother with a unique story and way of parenting.
Venue: The Retreat, 29A High Street, Milton-under-Wychwood, OX7 6LD
Dates for 2019 workshops: Saturday 27th July and Saturday 12th October, both from 9.30 - 4.30.
