The best way to get fit and improve your mental health? Get outdoors!

Olivia Johnson has been running her hugely popular outdoor buggy fitness classes for 5 years in Dubai and is really excited to now bring her classes to Shipton-under-Wychwood.

Bring your little one too and you will both benefit from getting outdoors: the fresh air, the Vitamin D, being in nature will all add to your mental well being as well as your physical well being.

You can expect your cardio fitness, strength, tone and flexibility to all improve as we include power walking or jogging depending on your fitness levels.

We use your body weight and surrounding items (trees/benches) to tone and strengthen the body with squats, lunges, press ups, tricep dips, and great exercises to strengthen the core. We will finish with stretching to improve your flexibility so bring a towel or mat to lie on.

Olivia knows what your body should be doing so expect low impact if you have a younger baby, no crunches... but safe, FUN and effective exercises for mums.

Make friends too as there is always time for a cuppa at the Wychwood Inn afterwards!

Suitable to attend from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or 10 weeks after a Caesarean, once your GP has given you the all clear. There is no upper age limit to the babies who come along!

Private Groups

Are you a group of mums in West Oxfordshire that would like a private Buggy Fitness exercise course? Please get in contact with Olivia on 07497 763097 to arrange a private class. Minimum numbers of 6 mums to allow this course to run.

Autumn/Winter 2019

Classes take place every Monday morning from 9.30 - 10.30. There is the opportunity to go for a coffee afterwards if you want to.


The classes are held outside at the New Beaconsfield Hall, Station Road, Shipton-under-Wychwood, OX7 6BQ. There is lots of free parking at the hall.


Sign up for five sessions in a six week period for £30, and then take it from there with Olivia. This is a rolling programme, so you can join any time you want to.

When you book, simply click on the first date you want to come along, and the booking system will then bill you for 5 sessions. You can take those sessions in the six weeks following the initial class, so if you have to miss a session one week for whatever reason, you can make it up the following week.

If you want to keep coming after your first six weeks, you can pay Olivia for another 6 week block or do pay as you go at £7 per class.
